After twenty years as a data analyst in the hospital field, I'm now all-in on Brett's Tailgate full-time — bringing that same research-driven approach to daily fantasy players who want real analysis instead of recycled takes. Our Story
Brett's Tailgate started the way a lot of good things do — with a real passion for sports. For over a decade, I've been deep in the daily fantasy world: grinding slates, refining lineups, studying matchups, and learning (sometimes the hard way) what actually wins. Along the way, I got tired of watching players — myself included — get served half-baked picks, recycled narratives, and "expert" content that felt more like filler than strategy. DFS deserves better. Players deserve better. So I decided to build it myself.
That's what Brett's Tailgate is — the DFS and Pick'em resource I always wished existed. A place where lineups are backed by real research, where value and leverage plays get the spotlight they deserve, and where bankroll management is treated like the foundation it actually is. We're just getting started, and many areas of the site are still being built out, but the core is live: daily lineups, slate breakdowns, and pregame advice across DraftKings, FanDuel, PrizePicks, and the other major platforms.
