4-game FanDuel MLB After Hours Slate, first pitch 9:40PM EDT. We're anchoring around Reid Detmers with a 4-piece Athletics stack going at Mitch Keller, a Pirates trio attacking Jack Perkins, and Nick Madrigal taking on Merrill Kelly in Arizona.

On the mound, we're rolling with Reid Detmers (P, $9,800). The strikeout upside leads the way — 10.78 K/9 — and the 2.87 xERA sits well under his 4.00 ERA, with a tidy 1.05 WHIP and soft contact at a 7.3% Barrel%. He draws Arizona under the closed roof at Chase Field, and the strikeout ceiling makes him a high-floor, high-K anchor.

Nick Kurtz — C/1B, $4,400

In limited AB's vs Mitch Keller — .500 AVG / .500 OBP / 2.000 SLG / 2.500 OPS in 2 AB (1 H, 1 HR). Kurtz is the spend-up among the hitters and the best bat in this group, mashing right-handed pitching to a 1.086 OPS with a .305 ISO, 13 HR and a 24% walk rate vs RHP, backed by an 18.2% Barrel% and 57.6% HardHit% that lead the slate. Keller carries a 5.14 ERA and 4.98 xERA, and Sutter Health Park is hot tonight with the wind blowing out — a top-tier ceiling spot.

Nick Madrigal — 2B, $2,400

Madrigal is a value play against Merrill Kelly, a righty getting hammered — a 7.18 xERA and a brutal 1.82 HR/9 with a 1.45 WHIP. Madrigal won't slug, but he's an on-base machine with a .500 OBP, a 15.6% walk rate and a tiny 6.3% K% vs RHP — at $2,400 he's a cheap leadoff-type piece who finds his way on against an exposed arm under the Chase Field roof.

Zack Gelof — 3B, $3,200

Gelof is in the same Athletics group attacking Keller's exposed line, bringing a .780 OPS with a .191 ISO and 6 HR vs RHP. In the warm, wind-out Sutter Health environment, his pull-side pop gives him real upside at a value price.

Jacob Wilson — SS, $3,000

Wilson is the contact piece of the Athletics group — a .712 OPS with an elite 11.5% K% vs RHP, the lowest in this lineup. He puts everything in play, and in a hitter-friendly Sutter Health Park, balls in play turn into hits against a Keller line carrying a 4.98 xERA.

Ryan O'Hearn — OF, $3,200

O'Hearn leads the Pirates group against Jack Perkins, a righty with a 6.25 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP who puts plenty of runners on. O'Hearn brings a .836 OPS with a .185 ISO and a .366 OBP vs RHP — a steady, high-floor bat in the same warm, wind-out Sutter Health spot.

Lawrence Butler — OF, $2,600

Butler is the value piece in the Athletics stack with real raw power — a 45% HardHit% that flashes big-time ceiling. Against Keller's exposed line in a wind-out Sutter Health Park, his pull-side pop gives him upside at a cheap price.

Bryan Reynolds — OF, $3,400

Reynolds is the second Pirates bat against Perkins, a switch-hitter with a strong on-base profile — a .380 OBP and a 16% walk rate vs RHP — and a 45.4% HardHit% overall. He gets on base and drives the ball in a hitter-friendly park against a beatable arm.

Spencer Horwitz — UTIL, $3,000

Horwitz rounds out the Pirates trio against Perkins with a .856 OPS, a .190 ISO and 8 HR vs RHP, paired with an elite 13.2% K% and a matching 13.2% walk rate. The contact-and-on-base blend in a warm, wind-out Sutter Health spot makes him a strong value.

The lineup at a glance — Reid Detmers anchors with elite strikeout upside and an xERA well under his ERA. The Athletics stack of Kurtz, Gelof, Wilson and Butler tees off on Mitch Keller in a warm, wind-out Sutter Health Park, the Pirates trio of O'Hearn, Reynolds and Horwitz attacks Jack Perkins' 6.25 ERA, and Nick Madrigal takes on Merrill Kelly's exposed line in Arizona. One of the eight bats — Kurtz — lines up against the exact pitcher he's performed against historically. We're right on the cap.

Let's have a big night! 💰🔥
